About Toftegården
Toftegården is a typical Danish farm from the 1930s built in the middle of Skagen. It consists of three farm buildings in excess of 500 m2. Surrounding the courtyard, there were an approximately 10 000 m2 big area in the 50's that was designated for farms etc. and later on also for homes and a school. On the farm there were also horses until the 1980s.During 1997-2008 the farm was renovated for rental to tourists with four doublesrooms and six self-catering apartments with room for a total of 24-30 guests. In the year 2009-10 we rebuilt the old stables into a conference / banquet room with kitchen for rent to businesses or individuals. All our rooms, apartments and rooms are smokefree. Wireless Internet if available for rent.
Toftegården farm is near the center of town and it is located a short seven minute walk from the train station and city center. The farms locations is perfect for those who want to walk to the town where you can shop, eat fish in the cozy harbor or entertain themselves in the evening with good music and dancing, but still able to sleep in peace at night away from the city and port which during peak season can be very noisy.
